Athletics Program

Real Life Christian Academy offers an active athletic program for students from kindergarten through 12th grade that are led by a dedicated team of coaches.

We believe that athletics teaches important characteristics of hard work, perseverance, sportsmanship, and teamwork.

We have over 50 athletic teams which are competing in a variety of sports for students of all ages, from intramural sports teams in the lower school to participation in Florida High School Athletics Association (FHSAA) in our upper school. More than half of our collective student body participates in sports for the opportunity to excel beyond the classroom, learn the fundamentals of the sport and be part of a larger community to enjoy life changing experiences.

Debi Lawson, RLCA Athletics Director

Coach Lawson joined RLCA in 2008, bringing 20 years of experience with her to build the athletic program from the ground up. In 2015, she coached the varsity girls volleyball team to a national championship, and in 2013 led both the girls basketball and girls volleyball teams to state championships. Under her leadership, the level of play in competitive athletics at RLCA has risen significantly, leading to RLCA join the Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA), a more competitive league for high school athletics. There are more than 55 athletic teams for students of every age at RLCA, and Coach continues to enhance and grow the program annually.

Raptor Hall of Fame

The Raptor Athletics program has a history of fielding teams that are driven and highly competitive. Our teams have enjoyed a high level of success, which led RLCA to pursue joining the Florida High School Athletics Association (FHSAA), the governing body for high school athletics in the state of Florida, providing a higher level of competition to our athletics program.
